Hi Everyone,
I am in year 6 and are soon moving up to high school and today in school after we all arrived our teacher read the register. Everyone was here.
After the register was done we all went into the hall to have the sharing assembly which is when other classes share what they have been learning about to the school.
Then we moved into our math places. As a starter we did ordering decimals. Then we learnt about percentages and fractions. I don't really like maths so all of this was not fun.
Next.....BREAK!!!!!! I was playing stuck in the mud with all of my friends until I fell over and grazed my knee. That stung for a while. As I walked into medical when the whistle blew. That is the signal to line up to go inside. At medical they cleaned my knee and gave me a plaster.
Once I got back to class we did SPAG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) we tested are partners and I got 14/15. My partner only got 9/17 (but they looked rather hard).
Then after we finished that we headed for library which I thoroughly enjoyed because I love reading. In the library you can return and take out books. Then you can do some silent reading.
When we got back to class we did English for a bit until we were called to the hall to meet a poet called David J. Mason. He read some of his poems (they are very good). He explained to us that poetry can be anything you want. and words can do much more than you think.
Lunch Time!!!!!! YAY! The field was open today which is always good. That means that is Spring. I love Spring and the weather was so warm. Well the warmest it has been in a long time anyway.
Then we carried on English because are English lesson was only 15 minutes. We were pointing out features of a poem.
PSHE next. We were learning how to be safe with drugs.
Then it was the end of the day so we all went home.

Robert Kett is a amazing and fun school!!!
Teachers in Robert Kett are fun and give you the most exciting lessons ever. At the moment we are learning about the BFG the epic book written by my favourite author, Roald Dahl! Recently my class have been doing lots of art about the BFG, this is my favourite lesson of all times!!! As the BFG collects dreams we decided to make our own dreams. First we drew them onto a paper bottle, this was very fun. The next day our ever so kind teacher told us we were going to be drawing them for real, I was so excited. once I had drawn my fun dream I got started painting my dream in wonderful, bright colours. that was the best thing at school, the lessons are always exciting.

Science: Changes!
Science: Changes!
At school today, I was learning about changes... Basically science! First, we used a liquid (I cant remember what it was called) and heated it up with a candle. We added some sugar and gave it a stir. Eventually, we had made jam (Sort of). Annoying fact: I accidentally spilled all of the jam when we first started the experiment.Next, we heated up a small amount of squash, which all BURNED!!! Kind of!!! The liquid didn't evaporate, until we left it alone for a while.
Yay! Puffles!

On Wednesday 28th of January 2015 during a normal English lesson we were doing our work, when a storm aproached over us and we were told to describe the storm with powerful adjectives.
Then we started writing poems about the storm using our adjectives. Above, is my acrosstick poem inwhich spells 'storm' called 'terror night.'
TERROR NIGHT
Stormy night is raging ahead
The fierce lightning gives a fright
Over the clouds the Devil stared
Rattling like a walnut in his shell
Morning in sight, sigh of relief
